Weddings and Private Events at Chesterwood
Chesterwood is a beautiful and memorable backdrop for a Berkshires
wedding and other special events. Daniel Chester French masterfully
combined the elegance of his Italianate gardens with the natural rural
landscape. There are many locations at Chesterwood for wedding
ceremonies, receptions and dinner parties from small, intimate
gatherings up to 500 guests.
The panoramic views, historic terraces, hydrangea walk, perennial
gardens and sweeping lawns make gracious settings for your wedding
and photographs. Chesterwood staff will work with you (and your
wedding coordinator and vendors) to plan a beautiful wedding.
For out-of-town guests, or for the bride and groom, please consider
renting The Meadowlark, Daniel Chester French's second studio on
the Chesterwood property, now managed as a unique B&B by the
Red Lion Inn. It is a convenient country cottage for the bride and her
bridesmaids, or others in the wedding party to stay during the wedding
weekend.
