Chesterwood Opens May 1 to October 31

Opening Reception, May 1 – Join Friends of Chesterwood members and residents of Glendale and Stockbridge at Chesterwood at opening reception, 5-7 pm; free for residents of Stockbridge & Glendale and members, $5 for all others

Celebration and Unveiling of Restored Bronze Standing Lincoln Statue at Chesterwood, May 9 Reception 5-7 pm with presentation by Conservator, Monica Berry

Contemporary Sculpture at Chesterwood Opens July 3 - Opening reception and award ceremony, 5:30 - 7:30 pm $10 for members, $20 for non-members

Curatorial Tour of CSC, July 4 - Guest Curator Denise Markonish, Curator at MassMoCA, gives a walking tour of the show at 11 am, free with admission to Chesterwood

Demonstrations & Workshops, Sundays, Jul. 12 - Oct. 31 Presented by artists in the CSC show

Twilights at Chesterwood – Chesterwood open to the public from 5-8 pm the last Wednesday of June, July & August

Illustrator Maira Kalman, August 8 - Columnist for The New York Times, cover artist for The New Yorker and noted children’s book illustrator, presentation on Abraham Lincoln and book signing, time, location and admission fee to be announced
