Berkshire Pulse presents a four-day workshop with choreographer and teacher Matthew Cumbie that explores site-specific dancemaking on and around the grounds of Chesterwood. Together we will use creative tools and practices that respond to the natural and built landscapes and the rich histories of this national trust historic site, generating and developing dances connected to this place and the stories we surface.

Participants will be invited to perform as part of the Arts Alive! event on Friday, August 15 (or the rain date of August 16). No previous experience with dance or choreography needed; all are welcome ages 16+.
