HISTORIC ARTISTS’ HOMES & STUDIOS (HAHS), a program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, consists of more than 40 museums that were the homes and studios of American artists. Each site is dedicated to preserving and interpreting the places where art was made. HAHS, headquartered at Chesterwood, is a peer-to-peer coalition of sites that brings these museums together to conserve the legacy of creativity in the visual arts in America.
