SEASONAL TOUR GUIDE
Chesterwood’s Tour Guides serve as an informed and friendly ambassador for the site, providing individual or group tours to interpret the history of the site, its vast art collection, furniture, buildings and gardens, and placing them in historical and contemporary context for the visitor. This position pays $20/hour. Current open shifts are available Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Visitor Services Assoicate
The Visitor Services Associate serves as an informed ambassador for Chesterwood, providing excellent customer service, conducting admissions and museum shop sales and support, as well as being the point person for welcoming individuals, group tours, special guests, etc. and informing the Tour Guide staff of the daily schedule. This position pays $20/hour. Current open shifts are Wednesdays and Saturdays.
INTERNSHIPS
Interns have long been the back bone of everything we do at Chesterwood since the property opened to the public in 1969. Past interns have worked closely with our full-time staff in curatorial projects, educational programs, marketing, fund-raising, and special events.
The 2025 National Trust supported internship opportunity at Chesterwood has been filled, however go to www.savingplaces.org/careers to see internship opportunities at other National Trust sites.
